Peloton CEO steps down as company cuts jobs

Peloton made two big announcements: The company's CEO is stepping down, and job cuts are being conducted.

Longtime CEO John Foley will remain on board as executive chair. Former Spotify Chief Financial Officer Barry McCarthy will succeed him.

The company additionally is cutting 2,800 jobs globally. That accounts for about 20% of its corporate workforce.
