Pearson-Kelly Technology CEO appoints new president

Lee Flood is the new president of Pearson-Kelly Technology.

Pearson-Kelly Technology appointed a new president, a role that became available after an ownership change last year at the Springfield managed information technology services firm.

Lee Flood on March 4 was named to the role by company owner and CEO Chelsey Bode, according to a news release issued today.

"Lee led our team through the pandemic. I had a vision for where I wanted Pearson-Kelly to go, and he made it happen," Bode said in the release.

Bode, the company’s previous president, last year purchased the remaining 81% of the business she didn't already own from her father, Mike Kelly. At that time, Flood assumed some of the day-to-day responsibilities in his previous role as executive vice president, according to past reporting.

Flood is credited with helping the company increase revenue by 50% and grow its four major business lines of IT services, business phones, surveillance cameras and copiers, according to the release. As president, he manages Pearson-Kelly Technology's five department heads and all special projects.

Flood has been an employee with the company since 2014.

With 45 employees, Pearson-Kelly last year hit just under $7 million in revenue, according to company officials.
