PBS launching channel exclusively for children

PBS is starting a new 24-hour channel dedicated solely to children’s programming.

Dubbed PBS Kids, the free channel will debut later this year, likely in the fall.

Popular PBS shows for children include “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Dinosaur Train” and “Wild Kratts.”
