Patriots' Bill Belichick denies knowledge of deflated footballs

The New England Patriots are back at the Super Bowl, but did they cheat their way there?

After Sunday's AFC Championship game, NFL officials revealed that the footballs of the Patriots were deflated - about 2 to 3 pounds lighter than normal footballs. When head Coach Bill Belichick was asked about the incident, he stated he was "shocked" when he showed up to the stadium Monday morning to hear about the news. "I had no knowledge of this situation until Monday morning," said Belichick.

This is not the first time the Patriots have been accused of cheating. In 2001, the Patriots were accused of spying on the St. Louis Rams pre-Super Bowl practices.
