Pat Reiser, president and CEO of the Family Violence Center, is stepping down June 30, the organization announced today.
The center's board of directors has formed a search team to find her replacement, according to a news release. Reiser was not immediately available for comment.
"As I have now reached the goals I had set for the center and for myself, I have made the decision to step down as president and CEO," Reiser said in the release. "It is time for the next phase of growth to begin, and I am anxious for the center to reach its full potential in the coming years."
Reiser has served in an executive capacity at the organization since 2005 and brought a background in accounting and business to the role, according to the release. The organization recently was awarded United Way of the Ozarks' Pillar Award, which recognizes a group's management practices and support for United Way.
"The board and I were very saddened to receive Pat's resignation," board chairwoman Laura Johnson said in the release. "The soundness of our organization is a result of the tremendous leadership exhibited by Pat over the last four years."
The center, which serves victims of domestic violence, has 23 full-time employees, a 21-member board and about 100 volunteers. A job description and information on applying for the president position are available at the center's Web site, at the link below.[[In-content Ad]]
