A passenger plane headed toward the Chuuk International Airport in Micronesia overshot the runway and landed in a lagoon.
Local responders saved the 36 passengers and 11 crew members.
The aircraft was headed toward Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, from the island of Pohnpei in Micronesia. It was meant to stop at Micronesia's Weno island on the way.
