Gov. Mike Parson yesterday addressed the General Assembly for the first time after taking over for the embattled Eric Greitens.
"Today is a time for a fresh start for our state," Parson said, adding "we must work together for a better Missouri."
Before the speech, Parson met with Missouri's congressional delegation, as well as both Republican and Democratic state lawmakers, to discuss topics such as infrastructure and the opioid crisis.
