Gov. Mike Parson yesterday announced he would make new cuts to state department budgets within 10 days.
Parson said Missouri schools "most certainly" will see fiscal 2020 funding reductions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parson said if Missouri does not receive additional federal funding, the fiscal 2021 budget also could have withholds and cuts. Fiscal 2020 ends June 30.
