Gov. Mike Parson on Wednesday signed the state's budget.
He first eliminated $115 million from it, including a $2.4 million allocation to reward top-performing state workers.
“Missouri’s financial situation is vastly different from what we faced in 2020, and we applaud the General Assembly for recognizing this historic opportunity to make critical investments in the future of our state,” Parson said of the $35 billion budget sent to him by the legislature.
