Gov. Mike Parson conducted a shake-up of his cabinet.
Office of Administration leader Sarah Steelman was asked to resign, she told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Additionally, Department of Social Services acting Director Jennifer Tidball was replaced by Robert Knodell, Parson’s deputy chief of staff. Missouri Department of Mental Health Director Mark Stringer announced his retirement at year's end.
“This transition in state government will better position our cabinet to provide the best possible service to Missourians in the coming years. We look forward to our new leaders helping us continue our momentum and bring greater opportunity to Missourians all across the state,” Parson said.
