Gov. Mike Parson is attempting to rally lawmakers behind a proposed $700 million tax cut plan.
The legislature is preparing to reconvene next month.
Parson has spent much of August holding regional gatherings with GOP legislators around the state and one-on-one discussions with Republican senators, according to the Missouri Independent.
