Gov. Mike Parson yesterday said he expects more withholds from the state's budget will be required before the next fiscal year begins on July 1.
He's already withheld roughly $227 million from the fiscal 2020 budget. Parson did not immediately provide details on how much more in additional withholds would be needed.
Parson has yet to sign the fiscal 2021 budget approved by the Missouri legislature last week. The total budget approved by both chambers is more than $35 billion.
