Parson commutes sentence of former Chiefs assistant coach

Gov. Mike Parson has commuted the sentence of Britt Reid, former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach.

Reid, who is the son of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, will serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest.

Britt Reid was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated. A young girl was seriously injured in a drunken driving crash involving Reid in 2021.
