Members of Parliament on Monday voted to seize control of the Brexit process.
It's another defeat for U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, who has failed to gain the support of Parliament for a Brexit deal.
Richard Harrington, the country's business minister, was among officials to resign in order to back the move. In his resignation letter, he accused the government of “playing roulette with the lives and livelihoods of the vast majority of people in this country."
