Parkview High School

Demolition of the old north wing at Parkview High School provides a view of the new portion of the facility. Building Construction Enterprises Inc. is the general contractor for the project, and LeNir Ltd. is the project manager. Lohmeyer-Russell Architects Inc. is the architect for the project, which is part of Springfield Public Schools’ $30 million, no-tax-increase bond issue approved by voters in 2003. Renovations included new air conditioning and science labs and remodeling for the library and administration areas. The entire project, which had a base bid of $8.8 million and approximately $1.1 million more for bid alternates, is to be finished this summer.
