Papa John's International reached an agreement to settle a dispute with ousted founder John Schnatter.
Schnatter resigned as CEO in December 2017 and as chairman last year after he used a racial slur during a conference call. He owns 31 percent of the company.
He agreed to step down from the board in exchange for helping select his replacement.
He also agreed to drop a lawsuit alleging the company failed to disclose documents he asked for after resigning.
