Papa John’s founder John Schnatter sold 1.9 million of the company's shares worth $107.5 million.
After the transaction, he owns 2.9 million shares, valued at roughly $166 million. He still owns 9.2% of the company's shares.
“I am the only person who can fix Papa John's," Schnatter told Fox Business two weeks ago, saying he wants to turn around the company. "You are not going to fix Papa John’s without Papa John."
