Papa Johns closing hundreds of restaurants

Papa Johns announced plans to close roughly 300 restaurants by the end of 2027.

Roughly 200 of the closures are expected this year. A list of the closing locations has not been released.

Ravi Thanawala, Papa Johns chief financial officer and president of the chain’s North America operations, said the impacted locations are "not meeting brand expectations or lack a clear path to sustainable financial improvement."
