Panera Bread announced Monday plans to add more than 10,000 new delivery jobs by year's end.
The new jobs will help the company expand the service to as much as 40 percent of its cafes.
At the end of 2016, Panera Bread offered delivery at 15 percent of its 2,036 restaurants.
The company is under a purchase agreement with JAB Holdings in a deal valued at about $7.5 billion including debt.
