Panera Bread voluntarily recalls some cream cheese

Panera Bread Co. issued a voluntary recall of some of its cream cheese sold in U.S. stores.

The St. Louis-based company indicated Listeria monocytogenes had been detected during a single production day.

The affected products are varieties of unexpired 2 oz. and 8 oz. cream cheese containers with an expiration date on or before April 2.
