Panera Bread exploring sale

St. Louis-based Panera Bread Co. is exploring a possible sale after receiving takeover interest, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

Potential buyers are Starbucks, Domino's Pizza and Krispy Kreme owner JAB Holding Co.

The bakery chain has a current market value of roughly $6.5 billion.
