Posted online
Several local businesswomen will join author Courtney Price tonight at a discussion on women’s entrepreneurship at Drury University.

Price is founder, president and CEO of VentureQuest, a Denver-based consulting firm; founder of the Entrepreneurial Education Foundation in Kansas City; co-founder of FastTrac, an entrepreneurship training company; and author of publications including her latest, “Small Business Answer Book: 101 Solutions to Survive and Thrive!” according to a Drury news release.

She will present “Trends in Women’s Entrepreneurship: Key Challenges and Opportunities” at 7 p.m. in Clara Thompson Hall, followed by a panel discussion with Patti Penny of Penmac, Terry Reynolds of C. Arch Bay Co. and Rita Baron of Baron Designs.

The event is part of Drury’s 2008–09 convocation series, Entrepreneurship & Innovation. It is free and open to the public.

See SBJ’s Sept. 22 issue for an in-depth look at women in business.
