A report from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists called the Pandora Papers has shed light on hundreds of world leaders, politicians, billionaires, celebrities, religious leaders and drug dealers who have been hiding their assets for the past quarter-century.
The report shows how some hid their investments in mansions, exclusive beachfront property, yachts and other assets.
Current and former politicians identified as beneficiaries of the secret accounts include former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and associates of both Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The report is a larger follow-up to the 2016 project called Panama Papers.
