Data analytics company Palantir Technologies confidentially filed for a public listing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Co-founded in 2004 by tech investor Peter Thiel, Palantir sells software that aggregates big data for governments and corporations worldwide.
Company officials are considering a direct listing, through which its employees and investors would convert their ownership into stock that would be listed on the market.
