Pa. becomes 24th state to legalize medical marijuana

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf yesterday signed a bill making the state the 24th in the country to legalize medical marijuana.

Designed to alleviate pain, patients can take the drug in pill, oil, vapor, ointment or liquid form.

“The signing of this bill, which will improve the quality of life for patients and their families throughout Pennsylvania, shows that Harrisburg can come together to address big challenges on behalf of the people of the commonwealth,” Wolf said in a statement.
