Ozarks represented at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

An Ozarks businesswoman was in New York City Tuesday for the exclusive Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Shawn Barton, a privacy and security analyst for St. John's Health System, was showing her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sophie. The 14.5-pound, 5-year-old Cavalier has achieved Champion status in her breed, which qualifies her for Westminster.

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is an annual event held at Madison Square Garden. This year marks the 133rd dog show for the Westminster Kennel Club, which was founded in 1877. About 2,500 dogs representing 170 breeds and varieties will be judged.

Breed judging highlight videos are available on the Westminster Web site, available at the link below.
