After college, Bolin taught school and coached for 10 years in Steelville, Aurora and Branson. He then began a career in restaurant management at Adam's Rib in Branson, where he stayed until 1996. Bolin began working part-time as an agent for ReMax in Branson in 1994, then went full-time when Adam's Rib burned down two years later.
