Drury University was founded as Drury College in 1873 and is a collegiate university offering bachelor's level instruction to day and evening students in Springfield and seven area locations. Graduate level programs are offered in five disciplines in Springfield and a master's level education program is offered at Fort Leonard Wood and Lebanon. Bucholz, a Drury graduate and former trustee, has been vice president since 1993. He is a member of the Springfield Rotary Club and serves on the boards of directors of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and the Midtown Neighborhood Association. |bold_on||ret||ret||tab|

|bold_on|Early career: Bucholz had a paper route in his hometown of Tulsa, Okla., as a boy, then worked at a children's shoe store in high school. His professional career includes serving as the chief financial officer for the American Council on Education in Washington, D.C., the Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Missouri, and Washington University. He is also the co-founder of Prime, Bucholz and Associates Inc., a national independent endowment consulting firm in Portsmouth, NH. He returned to his previous position of vice president for administration at Drury in 1993. |ret||ret||tab|

|bold_on|Current projects: Bucholz is working on facilitating the campus development College Park with the construction of several apartment complexes that will house 64 students each along with three state-of-the-art fraternity houses. He is also involved in retrofitting 940 N. Clay to consolidate the art department into a single location, to be named the Pool Art Center. |ret||ret||tab|
