The Ozarks Coffee Trail, a marketing campaign put on by Visit Springfield, Missouri for local coffee shops since 2021, is returning for a fifth time.
The initiative, which starts today and is scheduled to conclude Sept. 30, 2026, has 40 participating coffee shops listed on the Visit Springfield website, according to a news release. Through the Ozarks Coffee Trail, participants can earn points for purchases made at those coffee shops toward prizes such as clothing and stickers.
Last year, the Ozarks Coffee Trail yielded around 3,900 participants and generated more than 15,680 check-ins. The goal is to increase sign-ups and participation by 10% this year, according to Visit Springfield officials.
Dancing Mule Coffee Co., which also is a participant this year, led the initiative with 900 Ozarks Coffee Trail customers last year.
“The Coffee Trail has been such a fun way to introduce new people to Dancing Mule,” said Randy Austin, owner of the 1945 S. Glenstone Ave. coffee shop, in the release. “What we love most is meeting guests who might not have visited us otherwise. It’s a chance for them to discover what we have to offer, and many come back again.”
