Oxford HealthCare to acquire Columbia home health agency

Posted online
Oxford HealthCare of Mid-Missouri is finalizing an agreement to acquire Sinclair Home Care in Columbia, effective July 1.

Sinclair is a service of University of Missouri Health Care, a fully licensed Medicare and Medicaid home health agency, and it serves about 140 home health patients, according to a news release.

"Our primary goal is to ensure continuity of care to our current home health clients and expand services to a broader geographical area in central Missouri," MU Health Care CEO Jim Ross said in the release. "After careful consideration, we determined that strategic collaboration with an organization focused on home health care offered the best model for expansion to meet the needs of the communities we serve."

The majority of Sinclair's 26 employees will be offered employment at Oxford at their current compensation and position levels, the release said.

Oxford is a wholly owned subsidiary of CoxHealth that offers home health services.[[In-content Ad]]
