The owners of St. Louis-based development company Lux Living have been indicted on fraud charges.
Vic Alston and Sid Chakraverty are named in the federal indictment alongside their accountant, Shijing “Poppy” Cao.
The businesspeople are accused of allegedly falsifying records related to the city’s minority contracting requirements for developers who receive tax incentives, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
