The owner of the Continental Life Building in St. Louis is seeking to sell the property.
Webster Groves-based Owen Continental intends to sell the building to local developer Grove Properties as part of bankruptcy proceedings initiated in the spring.
The deal must be approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which was a lender on a rehab of the building in 2001.
The building was constructed in 1929.
