Overland Park, Kansas-based Ken’s Sunflower Pharmacy filed suit against AmerisourceBergen.
The suit was filed over AmerisourceBergen's decision to no longer ship opioids and other drugs to Ken's Sunflower Pharmacy.
AmerisourceBergen allegedly identified abnormal behavior in which the pharmacy’s percentage of total filled prescriptions that constituted controlled substances was too high, the Kansas City Business Journal reports.
