Add another magazine to the list of startups this year. There’s already Signature magazine, the impending Boomer publication, and now comes Stim Magazine. Aimed for publication the third week of September, organizers say Stim is in response to Springfield’s “burgeoning cultural scene.” A small graphic design studio called 2and2is5 Design is behind the pub, which will be uniquely printed in a 5-by-7 inch size. Topics will range from music and art to theatre and poetry. Last year, Downtown Now and Go magazines were added to the bill. Springfield’s magazine market is getting crowded.

The Springfield location is known as RSI Home Products. An unspecified number of Springfield employees will be transferring to the Columbus location, which is set to open Nov. 1.
