More than 1,000 current and former Department of Health and Human Services employees are calling for the resignation of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
In an open letter penned by the employees, Kennedy is accused of “compromising the health of the nation.” The letter cites the recent ousting of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Susan Monarez, among other actions.
HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon told The Hill that Kennedy has a "commitment to evidence-based science" and that he's made major strides since becoming secretary.
