Widespread outages for Microsoft customers were reported on Friday.
The outages reportedly have impacted banks, airlines, television networks and health systems that rely on Microsoft 365 apps.
The outages have been linked to a technical problem in the software of global cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike provides antivirus software to Microsoft for its Windows devices.
