Outage hits Starbucks stores in US, Canada

A computer outage hit some Starbucks stores yesterday in the United States and Canada.

Stores were back online at the end of the day after a regular technology update on cash registers caused the issue.

Some affected stores reportedly accepted only cash, while others restricted their offerings.
