Keisha Scarlett is planning to sue Saint Louis Public Schools after her second firing as superintendent.
The district board voted Monday to terminate Scarlett's employment for the second time. Scarlett challenged the board's original decision made last month, leading to the hearing on Monday.
"The board chose to place the blame for long-standing problems at the feet of a superintendent who was willing to rush into the burning building and try to put out the flames," reads a statement from Scarlett’s attorney, Sherry Culves of Atlanta.
