OTC vice chancellor named chairman of college association

Ozarks Technically Community College Vice Chancellor Cliff Davis has been named chairman of the governing board for the Missouri Community College Association.

The one-year appointment leading the Presidents/Chancellors Council begins tomorrow, according to a news release.

"Davis has an excellent record of service not only to OTC, but to MCCA and the interests of community colleges across the state,” OTC Chancellor Hal Higdon said in the release. “His previous leadership with the MCCA Board of Directors and his continued investment in education make him an ideal choice to chair the MCCA Presidents/Chancellors Council.”

As chairman, Davis will be charged with leading the statewide association and representing community colleges to key legislators.

"MCCA’s work is vital to the success of Missouri’s community colleges," Davis said in the release.
