Ozarks Technical Community College has announced a new partnership with New England-based ConnectEdu, a provider of advisory and technical solutions for college preparation, search, application and financial planning.
Through the partnership, OTC students have access to a Web-based resource program called Connect! OTC is hosting a presentation for students and community members at noon Nov. 9 in the multipurpose hall in the Information Commons West Building.
"We are excited about the ability of ConnectEdu to provide important information via the Internet to our students who plan to transfer," said Ty Patterson, OTC Vice President for Student Development.
Connect! provides personalized resources and technical tools for users to receive guidance on how to start the college transfer process, get personalized information based on their preferences and where they are in their planning process, plan college visits, track key dates and deadlines for applications, and complete federal and school financial aid applications.
ConnectEdu, founded in 2001, partners with high schools, corporations and community colleges to help provide students with guidance and resources for the college application and transfer process.
