The win qualifies the team to compete at the SIFE USA National Exposition in May in Dallas.
The team presented a report on its community outreach projects in the last year, which have included a Holiday Craft Bazaar, Computer/IT Ethics Day, Technology Education Day, Extreme Exchange Experience Stock Market Seminar and the upcoming Excellence in Business Award, being given to SRC Holdings Corp. CEO Jack Stack.
This is the OTC team’s second regional championship.
The Cleveland competition is one of 17 regional contests held nationwide. The SIFE team from another Springfield college – Drury University – is competing today in the Minneapolis regional competition.
