OTC partners with area universities for transition into nursing programs

Posted online
Nursing students at Ozarks Technical Community College will be able to transition more smoothly into continuing nursing education at two area universities under an articulation agreement, announced this morning.

OTC will begin offering a complete Associate of Science in nursing in fall 2008. Under the agreement, graduates of those programs will be able to transfer more easily to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs at Missouri State and Southwest Baptist universities.

“These agreements are crucial to developing quality, well-trained health care professionals in our area,” OTC President Hal Higdon said in a school news release. “Our ASN graduates will now have a seamless transition into their bachelor programs, making it much more likely that those students will continue their education right away.”[[In-content Ad]]
