OTC Foundation board elects new leaders

The board of directors for the fundraising arm of Ozarks Technical Community College has selected Branson Mayor Raeanne Presley as its new chairwoman.

Presley had served as vice chairwoman of the 29-member OTC Foundation board and succeeds Wil Fischer Cos. President Jeffrey Gower, according to a news release.

“We are grateful to Jeffrey Gower for his service and leadership during the past year,” said Cliff Davis, vice chancellor and executive director of the OTC Foundation, in the release. “I look forward to working with Mayor Presley as we continue to develop a strong foundation for the college.”

The board also selected Chip Sheppard, vice president and shareholder with Carnahan Evans Cantwell and Brown PC, as its vice chairman; Mark Haseltine, partner with Springer & Haseltine, as treasurer; and John Gentry, president and chairman of Positronic Industries Inc., as secretary.

First established in 1995 to meet financial needs at OTC, the foundation also added new members Dolly Plaster Clement, executive director of the Robert W. Plaster Foundation; Donald Babb, CEO of Citizens Memorial Hospital; Randy Madsen, principle owner of Don Wessel Honda; and Dr. Robert Steele, president of Mercy Hospital Springfield, the release said.
