OTC explores Webster County expansion

Posted online
Ozarks Technical Community College is exploring the feasibility of offering educational opportunities in Webster County.

For that reason, the college is holding a community forum at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 on the second floor of the Webster County Courthouse in Marshfield. All Webster County residents are invited.

“The involvement of the community is vital in this decision,” said OTC President Hal Higdon in a school news release. “The citizens of Webster County and Marshfield are our best resource in determining what kind of expanded opportunities are best for that area.”

OTC has 10,249 students, and its main campus is at 1001 E. Chestnut Expressway in Springfield. OTC’s Richwood Valley campus, which opened in December in Ozark, has 774 students. OTC has regional centers in Branson, Lebanon and Waynesville with a total of 658 students.[[In-content Ad]]
