OTC Early Childhood Education Center

Posted online
Though crews are working toward the original May completion date for Ozarks Technical Community College’s Early Childhood Education Center, it may not be finished until June due to weather delays, according to Mary Beeson, project manager with general contractor DeWitt & Associates. The 13,400-square-foot facility was designed by Stephanie D. Ireland of Ireland & Associates Inc. Engineers are Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Packard Engineering, structural; and Deka Engineering LLC, civil. The interior designer is Interior Planning Consultants Inc. The facility will house a day-care center for 80 children and classrooms on its lower level for OTC’s child development curriculum. The facility will have a full-size commercial kitchen, an outdoor play area and a community room for meetings and events.
