OTC becomes course-provider for online school

Posted online
Ozarks Technical Community College this morning signed an articulation agreement with Springfield-based online school Rockbridge Seminary.

The agreement designates OTC as the preferred provider of online undergraduate general education courses for Rockbridge students, allowing Rockbridge to add associate degrees to its existing graduate programs. Any Rockbridge student needing general education courses to meet associate degree requirements will be directed to OTC’s online classes.

“The ease of credit transfer and the availability of online classes will make completing their education a much smoother process for students at both institutions,” OTC President Hal Higdon said in a news release.

This is OTC’s first agreement of its kind with an online-only institution.
