OSHA investigating death at O'Reilly Auto Parts store

Minnesota workplace safety inspectors are investigating the death of an employee at an O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Cannon Falls.

The Post-Bulletin reports John Simon Schafer, 81, died Thursday after falling off a ladder. The fall was not observed and no foul play is expected.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration confirmed an ongoing investigation but declined to provide additional details.
