Oscars viewership plunges to record low

The Academy Awards reached its smallest audience to date.

The viewership count was 26.3 million, a drop from the previous low of 26.5 million set in 2018.

Some critics have said the lack of a host contributed to the decreased viewership.

Many of the movies are great. I saw most of them, but no one wants to hear actors' ignorant politico-palaver when they should simply be thankful people have the freedom to spend discretionary income on their craft. I watched Netflix during AW.
