Brentwood, Tennessee-based Tractor Supply Co. agreed to purchase Moberly-based Orscheln Farm and Home.
The all-cash transaction is valued at $297 million.
Tractor Supply, which operates more than 1,900 stores in 49 states, is slated to pick up around 165 stores in 11 states through the acquisition of Orscheln.
