With its quarterly earnings report just days away, O’Reilly Automotive Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ORLY) stock hit a new all-time high.
The company's shares hit the new 52-week high of $669.09 per share on Oct. 22 before closing that day at $663.57 per share. Shares were as high as $666.07 per share this morning, and the 52-week low is $424.03.
The Springfield-based auto parts retailer is scheduled to release its earnings report Oct. 27. The consensus estimate from Zacks Equity Research predicts O'Reilly Automotive will post $6.93 per share in earnings, a 2% drop from a year earlier, on revenue of $3.2 billion, a 0.3% increase.
In the second quarter, O'Reilly Automotive's profits rose 10.2% to $585.5 million on $3.5 billion in revenue, a 12.1% increase, according to past reporting.
